Mahal of Cambridge
Tucked away in Millers Yard, just off of Mill Lane in the centre of town, the Mahal of Cambridge restaurant is somewhat of a local institution. Lively and affordable, the Mahal is popular with students for its cheap curries and bring-your-own-wine policy, and the restaurant is within walking distance of Queen’s, Peterhouse and St Catherine’s College. Since it opened its doors in 1988, The Vaults – formerly known as The Depot – has established itself as one of Cambridge's leading independent restaurants.
