Ska Train Festival - Got a ticket to ride?

For a fun event and a great night out join us at the Ska Train Festival on April 3rd at the Cambridge Junction.
This year’s line-up includes the UK renowned: Neville Staple Band, The Dualers, New Town Kings, Cambridge’s very own Big 10 and Dj Ska ‘N’ Mash. All have a reputation and successful track record of being crowd-pleasers and leaving event goers wanting more.

Whether you are new to Ska music or a connoisseur, the event promises to be an entertaining, enthralling foot tapping, fun and dance filled night; with an eclectic mixture of easy listening live: Ska, 2 tone, Reggae and RnB influenced music.
it’s not often you get four bands and a DJ of this calibre playing at the same gig, it’s real value for money.
Those in the know will recognise that:

• The Dualers have played with Prince Buster, Toots & The Maytals, Jimmy Cliff and UB40. In addition they sold out the 02 arena 7 times.

• Neville Staple has played Cambridge before, is associated with The Specials, Funboy3, Rankin Roger, Elvis Costello and a successful 35 years in the industry.

• The New Town Kings are an emerging talent, best described as a 9 piece Ska & Reggae band from Essex who emphatically blend old-school Jamaican rhythms with a fresh dose of UK-inspired Ska.

• Big 10 have links with Bad Manners and Neville Staple they are also renowned for a huge Ska sound, entertaining stage antics

• Dj Ska N Mash plays a wide genre of music under the reggae banner. This he believes differentiates him from the crowd who concentrate on the early stuff. He also likes to include mash-ups, remixes and lots of stuff that’s not available on vinyl.
